Last week I had rather nice lunch at Wright Brothers in Soho. If you are looking for a smart informal atmosphere, with splendid fresh sea food, this restaurant is very much it. If you are an oyster fan, their range of fresh oysters are second- to-none and I recommend the Grilled Madagascan Tiger Prawn, which fills the plate, as a main course. The House wines are perfectly acceptable and there is a fine range of puddings, cheeses and dessert wines. The only issue I have with the restaurant is the length of time it takes to pay the bill. Due to poor internet connection the hand-held credit card payment terminals don’t really work, so one has to wait an age to pay the bill. If you are in a hurry it’s rather frustrating, however it is an ideal venue for a long lunch.
