If you are a budding overseas Entrepreneur, who is 16 years and over, not from within the European Union, and want to set up your business in the UK there is always the option of getting an Entrepreneur Visa.
This visa option has been around for a couple of years and in short it requires you to have;
- £200,000 investment capital, which may be borrowed.
- English Language at an intermediate level
- A Business plan
- The ability to support yourself financially in the UK
If you fulfil these four main criteria, details of which you may find at Visa4UK, you may eligible for a 3 years & 4 month Entrepreneur Visa which allows you to live and work in the UK.
In addition, the £200,000 investment may be split between a pair of Entrepreneurs. As an Entrepreneur you may bring your dependence and after the 3 years & 4 month period, may be eligible for a further 2 year visa extension, leading thereafter to eligibility to apply for settlement in the UK.
