If you want a rather disappointing night then book yourself into Ma Goa in Putney. It promotes itself as authentic India Street food that has ”continued to evolve their menu, adapting flavours and cooking with fresh ingredients procured weekly from Tooting Market”. It has unfortunately evolved in a purveyor of bland, uninspiring watery curries served in a complimentary spartan environment. As for the craft bear, well, not a very inspiring choice! This coupled with poor service and a rather arrogant ‘Maitre D’, resulted in a rather unpalatable evening. In the Maitre D’s defense he did eventually unilaterally reduce the final bill,  but only once he had made his view clear of what he thought of our lack of appreciation of his food.
